5 Camera Accessories for Beginners in 2024
5 Camera Accessories for Beginners in 2024 Starting photography can be hard! It’s super overwhelming to figure out what is actually worth buying and what is a total waste of money. So in this video […]
So far I have a full smallrig setup on my a6000, a Kondor Blue complete rig on my A7Rv, and just got a Lockcircle NY6500 for my a6500.
I’d have to say that for a cinema rig, I’ll go Kondor Blue all day, but as for the best photography setup, nothing challenges Lockcircle. They are very expensive but damn well designed.
I think my next camera will be another cinema rig but using Lockcircle. I’m want to see how they can compete in the cinema cage world…
Man the audio sounds 🔥🔥🔥
almost 0 reasons for photographers to use cages
The idea that cages protect cameras is only partially true. If the camera is dropped, that shock is still going to be sent through the camera. It might prevent breaking the plastic, but it will not prevent damaging the innards.
No
We want a small form factor so we can attach a cage to it later😂
why do you talk like mrbeast?
Umm what about the lens
Sounds like the photographers need to hit the gym. Grown men crying about a few ounces being too heavy ☠️
If I could go back and edit out the line that mentioned photographers I 100% would. It was ONE LINE and this video was very much directed towards videographers and filmmakers. Sorry I offended every photographer that came across this video. Do or Don’t use a camera cage, I honestly don’t care. 👏
What if you have a camera where there is never a cage built for?
Although i dabble in video, i consider myself a photographer at heart. across the last four years, i have bought cages for all three of my cameras. I could count the amount of times i have dropped or nicked my cameras on one hand, because the cages dont just protect my cameras, they also give me peace of mind, and allow me to be more confident when out shooting. i fully agree with you.
i was 2000th like….
They don’t make it for my camera well they might I have been searching for one but I can’t find it canon r100
I have a camera cage, top handle, monitor mount, remote shutter button so I can take low angle action photos. I can use the nato rail on the top or side for landscape or portrait orientation. It doesn’t work for everyone but it is my setup.
Absolutely protect my camera, i accidentally dropped my camera at waist height, and it survived. Twice. I have bad habit of holding my camera speedlight, usually, once the shoe mount broke another it wasnt secured.
Yeah, I’m a nah on this one.
Can I get a camera cage for my fujifilm instax 400 wide.
It just adds weight to the camera, uncomfortable, if ur hiking or going through mountains, or travelling that extra weight will add up and be an issue, it’s not for me but maybe it’s for others 🙌🏻
It’s pretty good to have one especially a good one but they are expensive and thus beginners should stay away if they aren’t rich
as a photographer I can think of zero reasons to get one
Nice, turning an ergonomic camera into a metal nightmare sounds perfect!!
How does it protect though? I’m not an expert but those looks like sturdy cages not soft, from a fall, the shock will still be absorbed by the camera and not by the cages. Maybe from scratches from getting bumped.
An L bracket is a lot more useful for photographers. I keep one on at all times when I’m traveling or doing landscapes
